What Are the Cheapest/Priciest Retro Gaming Experiences?

This might be an interesting conversation: what are the cheapest/priciest retro gaming experiences possible, given the general "market" price (excluding "finds," yard sales, etc.)?

For example, on the pricey side -

Playing Radiant Silvergun on a Skeleton Saturn is playing a somewhat pricey game on a somewhat pricey system..you are likely in the $300+ range for that experience....but there are more expensive Saturns and more expensive games for it.

Playing Stadium Events on an original NES kiosk or hotel system is an even pricier proposition - but we aren't enteering PCE or SNK territory yet...

On the cheap side -

You can regulalry pick up a new SMB cart for $1-$2, but NES systems are generally more expensive than something like a Game Boy or even a Genesis. Is playing Joe Montana Football on a Model 2 Genesis the cheapest experience possible? Maybe it is playing some .50 kid's game on a GBC? Or maybe something else...

In any case, feel free to chime in with the most expensive/cheapest experiences possible by platform/overall/etc. - I'm curious to see what people come up with.

I think this setup would work. I'd test it out but uh...

Samsung Saturn with an Action Replay Plus 4m connected to two multitaps playing a 12 player round of Quarterback Club '97 with 6 Sega Saturn Virtua Stick Pros.

Saturn: $720
AR Plus 4M: $40
Multitaps x2: $50
Quarterback Club '97: $3
Sticks: $3,360

Luciennes quest on M2 3DO (are the existing models even functional?).

For the Dreamcast, let's see...

Console: Divers 2000 Dreamcast ~$1000
Game: Bangai-O: Prize Edition ~$1000
Controller: ASCII stick ~$200

Not a bad extreme for a system that you can usually play for $30 and the cost of a couple CDRs.

Around here it's definitely either the Game Boy (/Pocket/Colour) or the Game Gear that are the cheapest consoles I tend to see. Any common and unwanted game for those systems is probably the cheapest you'll find.
