Hi, i live in the uk 'the land of pal systems' ... Since i was a teen i have enjoyed ntsc and jap consoles for obvious reasons.. I was wondering if anyone knows where i can get a better/stronger stepdown transformer for my jap systems, which i could possibly use for us systems too, as the usual 'all in one unit' tends to get rather hot at times when on. I seem to remember years ago a friend having a large stepdown for his neo geo?
any help would be much appreciated

Re: 230 volt variable transformer search
I'm sure someone can recommend one in PAL land.
I do recall at a friend's house in Europe, he had a monster-sized converter that was also an electricity filter of some sort as well. He said it was around $300 though I'm sure they're cheaper now (this was about 15 years ago).
