NES 42-1 / 72-1 carts - value? rarity?

Post by Retrogamer0001 »

Hey all, was out at a yard sale today and saw 72 in 1 and 42 in 1 NES game carts for sale. The lady wanted 72$ for the 72 in 1 and 42$ for the 42 in 1. Is that way too high, or are these games really that rare and worth the money?

They're going to be bootlegs, so no, they're not worth that much.

Also, you posted a little over an hour ago. Be patient. :?

Sorry, but I'm going back in the morning to look at "boxes of old games and systems", so I just want to know if they're worth picking up.

Definitely too high priced. Not valuable from a collector's standpoint, but on the other hand might be worth getting if rare games on the cart such as Tengen Tetris or imports that would be hard to get. Maybe point out that the carts are bootlegs and offer twenty bucks?

Most pirate multicarts go for $15 or $20.

If you end up buying them, can you post a pic and list the games in the carts. Curious what games you might find buried in there.

Come on, that's a steal. $1 per game, yo.
