Out of all the prototypes Ive seen on ebay, this is the most legit looking one. But I dont have 50k to throw around...

If it was a Zelda 1 prototype, I might have entertained that idea. But FF2 wasnt even that great of a game.

It's interesting to think there's an official NES English translation from Square for this game. Though who knows how far the translation goes.

It's interesting to think there's an official NES English translation from Square for this game. Though who knows how far the translation goes.

As I understand it the game was fully translated by Square but the translation is extremely bare-bones due to it being a first pass and massive space constraints. But the SNES was too close on the horizon and they decided to just release IV instead.

Tried the link and it said that the item was no longer posted on ebay. Does anyone know if someone actually did pony up the 50 grand or did the seller remove the post themselves??
