ATTN: Philips CD-i owners

Post by Gooseberrysoda »

I recently purchased a CD-i Digital Video Cartridge that didn't come with a special installation tool. If anyone knows where I can get a screwdriver with this bizarre a head (or, better yet, if you'd like to lend me one) please let me know so I can get to playing lackluster ports of PC games fast thanks
Sega Genesis (Model 2), Sega CD, Sega 32X, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Game Boy Family, Phillips CD-i Model 910, NES, Atari 5200, Virtual Boy, Atari Jaguar, Playstations 3-4

What type of head is it? Can you post a picture? It is likely that there is somewhere to get whatever type of security bit needed from somewhere. Or see here.

It's a "torx," but the protrusions on the hexagon are extraordinarily narrow.

Probably is just Torx. Easy enough to get a driver or bits.
