If you could go on a date with any game character...

I had a conversation with one of my crazy otaku friends. It went something like this:

"Whoa! You have Valkyrie Profile?"
"Yep."
"That woman on the cover is pretty."
"Yep."
"Would you go on a date with her?"
"She'd probably cut my head off."

And then she proceeded to pull out every game with a female character on the cover and asked if I would go on a date with them. I thought that was an interesting question, since my favorite female characters like Lenneth and Kei Nagase would make for a pretty terrible day out.

Since all of my games were (oh so rudely) laid out on the floor for me, I glanced through them and 1080 Avalanche caught my eye. Akari Hayami!



She's friendly, cute, and awesome at snowboarding, which is pretty much the whole package What would we do? Snowboarding, of course. Too bad it's still August.

She has an intresting personality and backstory and the kind of personality I'd like if I ever were to go out on a date with a real life woman. Female characters like that are quite rare in video games (no, boobs and revealing clothing do not count as personality). I love the fact that even though she's a succubus, she's into abstinence/chastity and wants to dedicate her life to developing her mental and intellectual skills
