I once bought this NGPC game off eBay a few years back, advertised as near-mint. Then the idiot crammed the game in a bubble mailer, even though I paid her extra for mailing it in a box, and it arrived smashed and ripped. I got my money back, although she refused to reimburse me for the cost to ship it back to her. So stupid.
Anyhow, does anyone know if the Japanese version displays English text if the game system is switched to English?
Does the JP version of Biomotor Unitron display English?

Sorry, dunno. But if you are in Japan (your loc?), you can get an NGPC cheap and easily. Why not just get one and try?

You mean the NGPC itself or the game? I already have the system, but the game probably goes for about 3,000 yen or so, boxed with manual. I imagine that it won't require much reading skills, but I'd still prefer to play it in English if I can. Gamefaqs doesn't make mention of this, but actually, one of the FAQs has stuff written in Japanese. I guess that probably answers my question. It probably doesn't support dual language. Maybe there ought to be a list made of all the NGPC games that support multiple languages. Hmm...

D'oh reading fail.
In that case since you have the system, bring your English-set NGPC to a store that has it and ask to try it. If it has English, voila. If not, bone up a bit on Japanese.

I'd actually like a list of games that do auto-translate. I picked up an NGPC a while ago with a stack of games, including some imports, and was super stoked to play Fasali, but it was JP only
