Well, I can honestly say that no one anywhere saw this coming at all (not that it's unwelcome). It seems that on August 21, the Scott Pilgrim game will be getting online multiplayer via DLC! Now that the game has addressed the number one concern from its reviews, I'd say this game can easily sit near the top of the ranks of greatest Beat-Em'-Ups of all time, not that it didn't deserve such an accolade before. The DLC will also include a new character, Wallace Wells (fuck yeah, Wallace Wells), which will probably just be a reskin of Scott, like Knives was a reskin of Kim. But, maybe he won't be! We can only hope.

Interesting they would add this so long after release. Usually, after one year a game doesn't get any new content, especially not content this big.

Charging for a multiplayer addon to a beat-'em-up is not cool.

Online multiplayer was not in the game's original budget. Now, two years later, Ubisoft is putting more money and time into the game so people can have it. You don't think that deserves extra money?jfrost wrote:Charging for a multiplayer addon to a beat-'em-up is not cool.

Some people were really spoiled by Burnout Paradise.lisalover1 wrote:Online multiplayer was not in the game's original budget. Still no word on the status of the DLC, but last night, I was looking through my PSN trophies, and noticed the list had been updated to reflect the new content, despite the fact that it is still unavailable. Hmm...
