Is there a first-party PS1 controller extension cord?

I love the original PS1 controller (the stick-less model) but the cord is a tad short. Did Sony ever make an extension cord for PS1 controllers?

I don't know if there's a first party one, but I've been using third party extension cords for years and they've worked great.

Google turned up a plethora of third-party options.

I was just wondering if Sony ever made one. I can't seem to find one... I guess they didn't.

No, but even if they did, they'd be overpriced. The $3 ones on ebay work beautifully.

According to the ever-useful SCPH database, there was no Sony brand extension cable.
