Shenmue price

Post by tcpballa93 »

How much should I pay for a complete copy, in good condition, of Shenmue? I would like to get a copy but I don't want to over pay for it. Is around $20 reasonable, or too much? Thanks!

$20ish give or take sounds reasonable to me.

If you keep your eyes peeled it wouldn't be hard to get it for a good deal cheaper though.

That sounds about right, but I'd not go much higher than that. I got mine off eBay for $10.50 in decent shape.

Twenty bucks shipped is not bad. There is also a Limited Edition which includes a bonus music CD and a five disc holder. Though the jazz music was a disappointment, I only paid five bucks for the complete five disc game.

Shenmue generally goes for about $15-25 so $20 is a decent deal.

I got mine at a used bookstore recently for $2.95, but I think I got lucky. :) Usually I see this for ~ $20 online and about $25 at the local retro game store here.

Like everyone said, about $20 sounds about right. If you want it new, though, you're going in the hundreds. I hope you don't want it new.

The local game store here (which is actually a pawn shop, which usually over charges) had it complete, in really good shape for 10 bucks. They had like three other copies in the same condition, so it being so cheap is probably just a regional thing here. You can def find it for less than 20 if you look around though.
