Games you remember playing but never knew the title 2
hello every body...
I remember this commador 64 game about a homeless dude.
It was alot of fun. Collecting cans and recycling them for quarters, paying for a new suit and a hair cut, finding a job and going to work - and making it out of the slum and in to something better. What was also fun about it was i think you had the option of going the other way, you could start drinking, wash less often, forget to eat and gradually die from poor self maintenance.
Ive taken alot of blows to the head in my life and eaten things i should not have, and i need to know if this game really exists - or if its just a false memory caused by brain damage.
anygamers out there looking for games they never knew the title 2?

One game I remember was this arcade 1st person shooter that took place in a space station or spaceship. There were all kinds of weird aliens... and if you shot the windows, airlocks would close so that you didn't get sucked out... I think... maybe I just made that part up? I also think the game had foot pedals that were used for controling movement or something. I think at certain parts you could also choose where to go.
There was also this one Turbografx 16 game I remember playing at one of those store display things in the mall. It was some kind of platform game... that's about all I can remember. I don't think it was one of the Bonk games. Sorry, thats pretty vague.
There was also this one barbarian arcade game. It had these weird skeleton torso things crawling on the ground... that's about all I can remember of that one.
Lets see, what else was there... OH yeah, my friend had some kind of weird bootleg nintendo system that he brought back from the Philippines I think. He had some BIZARRE Mario game for it... It was labeled Mario 4 or 5, if I remember correctly. In the game Mario could role into a BALL like sonic.
And there were these pipes that made Mario shrink if he went through them!

maybe that game was keith courage. i used to play it a lot at my friend's house - it was a mario/adventure of link looking game... i guess with some qualities of wonderboy/adventure island too.whupthewickedwurm wrote:There was also this one Turbografx 16 game I remember playing at one of those store display things in the mall. I've been trying to track down this one arcade game from a while back...
It was kinda like Gauntlet where it was a top-down, attack enemies, kind keys to doors, etc
But I remember a big forest area and if I remember right the was this enemy that was like a hugh bunch of trees coming to attack you.
I only played it once at a Little Caesers pizza place in Okemos, MI, but it's stuck in my memory...

That Japanese-y setting looks familiar... did that game also have a lack of paralax scrolling in the background?

Little Caesers pizza, yeah those where the dayz. Back then, they used to have all kinds of bad ass arcade games in those kind of playses. Oh yeah, this might sound too easy an answer but could the game your looking for go by the name of Gates of Doom? That game had a Gauntlet feel to it. I dont remember any tree enemys though. Check it out anyway, its alot of fun and the music jams.racketboy wrote:I've been trying to track down this one arcade game from a while back...
