xbox original analog stick

I have 2 controllers where the analog sticks are either worn or cracked. Are the 360 replacements the same thing? Can i buy this?

And have it work on my S-controller Xbox? (looks like its the same to me.) I dont have a 360 though.

Yes replacement analog sticks from China will work on the original Xbox controller S (they'll even work on PS2 controllers as well, but not PS3), but keep in mind there's a massive difference in quality between OEM analog sticks and Chinese ones.

The Chinese ones are simply molds that lack the rubberized grip so once your thumb starts to sweat even slightly it will slide.

As always, you get what you pay for.

I would rather have a descent one. Not sure if ebay has any OEM sticks or not. Maybe someone could point me in the right direction?

I think you're completely out of luck. Microsoft doesn't sell Xbox controller components as far as I am aware. You could always try emailing their customer service.
