My small game room and collection.

The bottom cabinets of my entertainment center. On the right I store controllers, on the left are PC, XBox, and XBox 360 games. CD's are also stored in here.


Self explanatory.
Fatal Frame 2 is director's cut, probably the rarest game I own. (which isn't saying much)

I like to wrap my cords like so, easy to do and undo.


In a drawer, very dark. Sorry.

Memory Cards, e-Reader, XBox 360 controllers kept in here. Wavebird too.


Disc based consoles.


Everything except N64 and Dreamcast are hooked up here. N64 is composite (it's my least played console) and Dreamcast is AV2. The Turtle Beach Headsets work for all the consoles plugged into this box.

That's it. I plan to expand later, but right now I am content.

Only have 2 cameras, my iPod Touch and Cellphone. Cellphone one by a lot...

I'm only 14 with no income so I can rarely purchase anything to add to my collection. My NES with those 4 games was only 5 bucks. I'm trying to build though! As fast as I can, at least.

Tips for better pictures. Turn on more lights! If you don't have a tripod, that's ok. Prop your elbows on a chair, or even use a broom to steady your hand.

I actually used more lights for these pictures. I suppose I just need a better camera then, lol.

I started collecting when I was probably 16 with my only income being an allowance (the fact that my mom gave me $50 every two weeks helped me build my collection). Actually, that has remained my only income since I just started my first job today, but that's not the point. The point was originally supposed to be that a lot of patience and a little luck will get you a large collection for a small price, and this forum is the BEST place to make that happen. Well, this and eBay, haha. I've gotten some incredibly great deals here, and if you've got duplicates or something you don't want anymore, you can usually find someone to trade with. Heck, I had a broken Sega 32x that I even managed to trade; Harper wanted to tinker with it in hopes of finding the problem and fixing it, so I traded it for two NES games. A month or two ago, I got a copy of Seaman with the mic for $25 shipped. Stalk the B/S/T forum, and I promise, you'll find some games you want to add to your collection for lower prices than you could find anywhere else on the Internet.

For being so young with no income, I'd say you have a nice collection going for you. As for the picture quality, I can definitely empathize; I used my cell phone to take the pictures in my game room thread, and it took a lot of trial and error to get the lighting good enough.

I would like to trade games but I don't think my parents would like me sending games off to a complete stranger or giving away our address, thanks for the tips though!

I've had the N64 since I was very little, and the GameCube a little later. My grandma gave me my SNES because I had enough money saved for Earthbound (50 bucks at the time.) I went to the store to buy it the next day and it was gone. Got to keep the SNES though, obviously.

Bought the NES and the games for 5 dollars total. Dreamcast was $20.
