Alright so Samsung is making a gaming hdtv. That's right an Hdtv that come's with controllers and built in to play game's such as the witcher 2, Mass effect 3 and more titles to come.
Quite bold yet Odd. Im not sure how I feel about a gaming tv really. Check it out not much info yet.

It doesn't have built in games per se. It has built in accesso to Gaikai - the game streaming service that Sony is acquiring (and that was founded by Dave Perry, among others).
Doesn't take all that much to support in terms of hardware. Much more dependent on internet connection.
It's a fairly logical step to be honest, akin to rolling Netflix or Hulu support in.

Less an entry into the console war and more an early hint of the beginning of the end for consoles.
Though I'm not convinced enough people have fast or reliable enough Internet connections for this to catch on widely just yet (I sure as hell don't).
Building it into TVs will certainly help gain recognition and acceptance from the general public though.
