You've got a PS1, Saturn & Dreamcast (hypothetical question)
...and you can only keep one. You're moving into a smaller living arrangement (from about 700 sq ft down to 200 sq ft) and might be traveling frequently. Space will be at a premium. We'll say you have a decent collection of games for each system. Which ever system you decide to keep, you get to keep your existing library for it.

PS1 and then Saturn.wip3outguy7 wrote:...and you can only keep one. We'll say you have a decent collection of games for each system. The respective library will stay with your system of choice.
Or what if you could keep two of the three?

I would say PS1, if I didn't have a PS2. It has the biggest and most varied library of games, and is the easiest to collect for, plus it still has it's share of gem exclusives.
But since I have a PS2 that plays PS1 games, I'd choose the Dreamcast. I like the Saturn just fine, but I like the Dreamcast just a little more. And in my area, it's a lot easier to collect for the Dreamcast than it is the Saturn.

no brainer sega saturn, its by far my largest collection. I have almost every good game for the system. i would miss the dreamcast, thats my go to system for fighters
ps1 could go since i only have a dozen games for it, most of which i could download on my ps3 (if thats not cheating lol)

PS1 for diversity.
Saturn or DC for shmups (which I know you're a big fan of).

wait are we getting rid of just the collection or the system too? the dreamcasts position might change then due to the ease of burning games. I really need to get more ps1 games i have a great n64 collection since that was the system i chose during that era.

That's a good point. The collection for the system/s you choose would stay with you.ninjainspandex wrote:wait are we getting rid of just the collection or the system too? the dreamcasts position might change then due to the ease of burning games.

I would say either the ps1 or dreamcast.Depending on what you like, fighters, shooters, arcade ports, rpg's, the ps1 has most. Dreamcast hasa great library also. I know what your going thru. I am also going thru that with my ps2 and gamecube. I'm keeping my ps1 and dreamcast but either my ps2 or gamecube has to go.

) i'll keep the saturn and the dreamcast.

My ps1 would go out the window immediately.
If I can keep my NAOMI, I'll keep the saturn. Otherwise, I'd be torn between the saturn and dreamcast, but would probably end up settling on the saturn.

Need FreeMCboot? I'll install it on your PS2 Memory Card for free if you cover postage both ways.
Consoles: I have too much stuff
Arcade: No seriously, I have too much stuff. Someone grab a shovel and dig me out of my basement.
