Personally, I wouldn't bother trying to run an emulator on a Dreamcast. It seems to much of a hassle having to deal with discs, etc. I think the xbox or the PC is your best option. Everyone should have a PC/laptop by now.

The genesis emulator runs fulll speed.
I used to have 2 discs filled with ~ 300 roms per disc as I recall. Works great.
SNES emulation still isn´t quite fullspeed which is why it isn´t really worth it.
There is Bleemcast ps1 games and neo geo emulation that run pretty ok.
Optimizing PS2 games 480p (progressive) and 240p gsm hdtv

NesterDC is probably the best emulator for Dreamcast, but DreamSNES sucks. SNES4all is way better, though still not perfect, but at least it's still being developed.
Consoles: NES, SNES, DC, PS2, PSP, PS3, 3DS, PS4.

Which is the best for genesis? And is it worth trying? I'll give snesforall a try. Yeah I realise there are better options for emulating but I like seeing what the dreamcast is capable of.
