Ps2 won't open.

FIXED

No, I'm not talking about the disc tray. I'm actually trying to open the damn thing so I can clean the laser. I've watched a bunch of videos of people taking it apart, and i removed all of the screws. I flipped it over then and I've been trying for twenty minutes to pry of the top part. it seems to be coming up from the back, but the top is stuck on the front of the ps2 system. I would just pull as hard as I can but I don't want to risk breaking the shell. Why can't I get this thing open?

I think you might have to remove the disc tray door cover thingy thing

Plug it in, eject the tray. it should pop off pretty easily.

The earlier models have TEN Screws. The cover should slide straight up after prying all the way around. Maybe the Eject button or drive tray is hanging up on the cover?
