Rainbow Moon
Rainbow Moon
It released on Tuesday on the PSN. It's a Strategy/RPG. Only played a little bit so far but it's pretty fun. Anyone else pick it up or even heard of it?
Huge RPG fan.

I hadn't heard of it until I saw it on PSN. Can you give us a description of gameplay or a comparison?KoLAddict wrote:It released on Tuesday on the PSN. It's a Strategy/RPG. Only played a little bit so far but it's pretty fun. Anyone else pick it up or even heard of it?
Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.
Re: Rainbow Moon
Yeah it's a Strategy/RPG, with combat similar to FFT or Shining Force. There's a hint of Disgaea as well, as the max level is a lot higher than in a standard game, although not quite as ridiculous as Disgaea. I've heard 250 and I've heard 500 for the max level.
I also know there aren't a large number of unique characters for party members, I've read that there's 6 in total, and you can only take a few with you in combat.
Now battles are both random and non random. You can get into random fights but you can also see enemies on the screen you can choose to initiate combat with or avoid.

Re: Rainbow Moon
Been considering checking this one out. What is the asking price?
Will probably wait until I can finish up some other games. And Dyad is coming out on PSN next week. Definitely getting my $15

I was all ready to jump on this game, until I read you can only have 3 characters in battle at a time

Re: Rainbow Moon
Yeah, there's not a large selection of characters either. That's really the only mark against it for me though. Well, that and the lack of a New Game +, which I think all RPGs should have.Jmustang1968 wrote:I was all ready to jump on this game, until I read you can only have 3 characters in battle at a time
