Simple (read: cheap) way to switch betwixt 2 HDMI's?
so my LED only has one HDMI input on it. Which means I have to switch the cable out if I want to play a PS3 game then a 360 game. I'm sure there's countless ways to remedy this, but just looking for the simplest, cheapest solution. Ideally, I'm looking for some kind of splitter I guess? One that doesn't require an AC power source would be best. Who can point me in the right direction? Or even better, who has such a thing that is collecting dust I can take off their hands?

Just a warning. I have an HDMI switch box from Monoprice, and the PS3 doesn't work with it. All my other HDMI devices work fine.
You could try VGA with the 360. I have a cable if you are interested.

thanks, but no good.ZenErik wrote: You could try VGA with the 360. I have a cable if you are interested.
HDMI - PS3/360
VGA - Nextvision N6 (composite) - GCN/DC/Sat/PS2
DVI - PC
^as you can see the VGA port on my LED is already pretty heavily used.

I bought a basic non powered HDMI/DVI combo switch years ago from FRYs. No longer carried, but I think a "mechanical" switch has an advantage over the newer sensor switches. Sometimes I would not get a picture until I switch the box back and forth one time. A sensor switch may not have this override feature.
Another option is add a HDMI to DVI adapter and have the PC connected to the VGA port with a VGA switchbox to fit with your other VGA connected consoles. The disadvantage is the DVI connection would need the RCA audio from the game console. My HD CRT only has DVI, but the HDMI conversion cable with RCA stereo leads work just fine.
Maybe hit Amazon and look at the customer reviews? There are boxes listed there for around ten bucks.

I'm just tickled you used the word betwixt. It is highly underused and thus undervalued given the clarity of it.

Have you a Target nearby?
I just saw an HDMI splitter at Target the other day, 2 in, 1 out like you need.
Unfortunately, I didn't see if it requires power and I don't remember the price.
I'm also not seeing it on their site for some reason...
Still, it might be something you can check in to.

I like your use of the word "betwixt."
