Soul Calibur 2 Ocarina/SaveFile Help

So, one of my friends was over here and (according to him) accidentally deleted my Soul Calibur 2 save data from my memory card. I had unlocked everything and beaten everything. I REALLY don't feel like doing all of that again, but I loved using the unlockable weapons. I've tried getting some "Unlock Everything" AR codes to work by using Neogamma, but I whenever it would apply the codes and start to load the game, I'd get a black screen and nothing would happen. I've also tried using the Gamecube Saver program to copy a save file with everything unlocked from my SD card to my GC memory card, but even though it seems to do everything fine, when I go to play the game, the file never actually copies.

Can anyone help me out here? It's totally likely that I'm an idiot making some obvious mistake, but I can't figure out what the problem is. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.
