Post by mason »

Any updates for surreal 64? or any updates for any of the emulators? also is true that the psx emulator for xbox sucks.

I downloaded that one you recommended the other day but haven't had the chance to try it out yet, but thanks Mason for the heads up.

I was wondering about N64 emulation on the Xbox recently. Does Surreal 64 run Donkey Kong, Goldeneye and Perfect Drak well?

Today is my day off so I'll try and find the time to install and try it. I'll give an update on here if I manage to give it a go.

Ok , I've found some time to do a little bit of playing and one thing to keep in mind is that N64 emu on the pc isn't completely there yet , so to expect the ageing Xbox to be able to handle it is a little bit of a stretch. I've had time to run Sureal 64xxx and it is good ,but not completely playable ( maybe with a little tinkering it can be, but I didn't have the time at the moment) I managed to run perfect dark with very buggy gameplay and 1080 with some minor bugs but on the whole was very playable.

Here's a link http://isohunt.com/torrents/?ihq=xbox+n64+emulator to what I think was the one I downloaded from ( the third torrent on the list ,there are a bunch of xbox emu's together) it is definetly worth a look but don't go throwing out your 64 just yet.

Once again , Mason thanks for the heads up on what to look for.

Ps.Sorry Kinn that I can't test the other two games for you just yet, I have some things to do.

No problems Droid party. Thanks for what you've done anyway.

No, I only had time to test PJ64 ( that's what I mostly use for pc emulation) but I'll get in and try the others. Of the three, which do you feel is the best?
