Okay, I scored a model 1 Super Nintendo for $8 at Goodwill a while back, and it works flawlessly, but I still can't get my Game Genie codes to work. I tried the "0000-0000" trick to see if my slots were messed up, and (since I'm not entirely sure how to interpret this, I'll tell you guys what it said) after I reset, the top four lines were blank and the last line said "00A0-000D," I believe...something about all zeros except for an "A" and a "D."
So, here's my question; why the hell won't my codes work? I have the version of the Game Genie where the dashes all appear from the beginning without entering anything in (that's version 1, I think), but I thought that at least the first line of code would work as long as I had an original model SNES. What's going on?
