This game is awesome! Feels like Taito's ode to Toaplan. Which is only fitting, since they published all of Toaplan's stuff up until Truxton I believe.

Will play this on TL2 once I get home and get a few MB runs in.

Anyone know the accuracy of the us ps2 port, I've got my money on something being off :x

I was going to ask what this game is all about, but according to the OP I'm already sucking at.

Seeing how this game was nearly going to be this month's Taito TR shmup nominee, I was expecting to see a high-score thread for this one

I have not seen any issues with the TL2-PS2 port of this game thus far.

MB is still taking top priority, but if I can find a chance to do this one fast, I'll post a score.

536,620 - ExedExes - Stage 3 - Type C - TL2-PC

Type C should read Solo-Bang

After a 183K MB attempt with no Stage 2 death in the cheap section (yay!), I did this one, and I must agree that it should be called Toaplandan  Stage 1 represents Truxton, Stage 2 Sky Shark, Stage 3 perhaps something they could have made! Even Type A had a very similar lightning shot. Plus, there's that famous Taito "space-cylinder" in Stage 1 that you'll see in the 3rd area of zones on Darius Gaiden and the welcome to Stage 3 intro of MB.

Perfect difficulty, quick stages, and not overly cheap. Can't go wrong.

Didju just beat my score by 7k points? :P

Solo bang is the man, his "Change" shot is nice, but that wide vulcan is where its at. Especially if you take Napalm or Missles instead of Homing.

Somehow, I got a bomb right after you fight the main villain the first time (near the beginning of stage 1).
