I thought about going this route but went Gamecube instead a while back. For SNES I really only have Super Metroid. It is CIB, non greatest hits. I was happy to see it was truly complete, all flyers and plastic bag included. Also it was carefully opened, the tabs on the opening flaps aren't even bent, which happens easily when people open the boxes. The price on this game has come down some I think, maybe due to VC release, but as my second favorite Nintendo franchise, I am happy to have it.
Any particualar reason you are going SNES? I know a lot of people prefer carts to discs as they are not easily reproduceable. I fell the same way about the proprietary GC discs. Isn't there a simple mod that allows import carts to fit? Have you looked into storing the games in a vaccum somehow? I recall reading exposure to both light and/or air can discolor the plastic.

Let my legs shake me to sleep, and don't wake me when I sweat on my sheets.

This is the best reason to collect!Marktheshark83 wrote:the reason im collecting SNES is because i used to play it 24/7 as a kid. Each game i play i can just remember back in the day sitting in front of the TV playing the same game. O the good ol days. No worries other than getting to that next level
It's funny. SNES is prolly my all-time fave hardware, but it's the only console I own that's not currently hooked up. Well, that and my 2600. I've concentrated on collecting other stuff in the last few years, mainly NES and PS2 and now some Genny.
Good luck collecting CIB games. It's a worthy goal, but it won't come cheap. SNES has one of the highest nostalgia factors of any retro hardware, as well as some of the most stone cold classic games, like Chrono Trigger, LTTP, FF3, Super Metroid and so on. All of that means high prices with no signs of coming down.

i would be interested in buying them if u wanna sell..pm me a list and how much u want for each..That would be awesomeEzzen wrote:I've got about 30 SNES games, factory sealed. Had been planning to sit down and enjoy them someday but recently moved on to some current systems, so I doubt I'll get back to them. Been thinking about selling them, so if there's any interest, I'll consider listing them.
thanks

I was the same, played it all the time. I collect snes games, but loose cart only. I have 670 games loose (need around 50), around 550 factory sealed (selling on ebay all the time) and around 13 CIB and a whole bunch loose for trade.
I just moved onto N64, i need 42 more carts for that colleciton. I am done NES, but I need NTSC Stadium events, I only have the PAL version.
