Hi so I have been playing the hell out of Nights into dreams and This is and will always be on my top list. Such a beautiful and fantastic game this was. I wont comment on Jod I hvae my own felling on it.
But there's alot of options and things that could be done on a nights 3 my question to you all is If and when this game is made what would you want from it?
All comments are welcome but please be nice and respectful to others opinions I would like this topic not to get locked and this has been done many time's from spamming or arguments.
I think other than the draw distance, the first game was pretty much perfect.
If I had to pick one area to improve it would be the 2 player mode, which I thought was pretty weak. Would have been far better to race each other around the course and try to beat each other's grades. Even if it meant taking it in turns rather than playing together.
I enjoyed Journey, but I def preferred the original so I would prefer a return the original formula for another sequel. I didn't like the voices they picked for Nights and I thought they could have come up with some better motion controls. I like the variety that they added to the levels, but I would have liked to have at least some levels that played like the Saturn game.

My felling exactly actually. Pretty much you whole statement is how i fell
Third game sounds very unlikely, but should they make one I would like to be as colorful and trippy as possible. No voice acting, cutscenes, over important storyline or anything like that, just like the Saturn game only with better graphics.
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)
Also looking to buy: Ys III (TG-16 CD), Shadowrun (Genesis) Hori N64 mini pad and Slayer (3DO) in long box/just the long box

The original director of art and design said he would love to make another one and he will try for it but it's up to sega so i think there is a good chance.
Besides he was talking about getting it ported for this current generation to see the magic of the game
Yeah, he also talked about Knuckles Chaotix 2. They could probably make those games independently and realse them on PC/XBLA/iOs/android, but I doubt SEGA is willing to risk investing on such niche games.
“I’ve thought of both in the past”, he reveals, “and I actually considered making a game like Knuckles Chaotix at one point, but Sega has unfortunately not given me the green light to do so.”
“I would personally love to make a third NiGHTS game”, he told us before adding “but that decision will always be up to the management at Sega.”

Maybe because it's the only one I have played, but I thought NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams was fan-freaking-tastic. I really want to play the first one, but man I don't really feel like buying a console for one game.
A new entry would be an automatic Day 1 Purchase though.

If some financial shortfall caused me to sell all my games and systems, I would still keep my Saturn and Galactic Attack even if it meant I starved.

I'm sure you would find other games in the Saturns library that you would enjoy. Also, nice to hear people saying good things about Journey of Dreams as I got sick of people moaning about it. Its a cool game.
