I have some classic game boy games I'd like to play on the go. Problem is the shitty lack of a backlight on the gameboy color and gameboy advance. What in the Hell was Nintendo thinking doing this?
Plus it would be kind of cool to own what is regarded as a relatively rare portable console. Nintendo should have released this in the USA, or better yet they should have released the gameboy color with a back light.
Is the gameboy light region free?

As far as I know, everything handheld and Nintendo before the DSi was region free.

Suuuuweeet! I can't wait to play Link's Awakening in glorious light. Screw the color version, if color is going to be as crappy as the color from the Gameboy color might as well just leave it to the imagination.

Bing, yahoo, Lycos, altavista, and any of these over two hundred other search engines is also acceptable.

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?
