This game is nuts, so many obscure scoring tricks. Getting an extend by hitting the 1p button near a statue is hilarious.

Definitely an underrated gem.

What do you mean by getting an extend?...

I already know the UFO trick in stage one, and the red car and the pigeon in stage two...

By the way, if anyone needs proof, I added my score on the official leaderboards here in the arcade mode section....

Sure is... ^^

And to think only three people made the game, and only one converted it for Dreamcast... :o

HUCAST could learn a thing or two from these guys...

@elma: an extend is a "1up."

There is a big statue on stage 3 (I think, could be later in the game)

If you hit the 1p button (or start on the DC, which will pause the game, so you then have to unpause it), that statue will lower his arms and give you an extra man.

Sweet, will have to look into that... ^^

Don't think it's stage 3 though. That's the big purple ship stage...

Also, since an extra life obviously affects your high score, am I allowed to use it?... :?

yes. The goal is to play on a single credit for score. You cannot continue. But you can earn extends.

Yeah, a lot of shooters put in fixed extends (meaning not a score-based extend), but none of them have you pause the game to get it. Its still legit to use.

For example, in Progear, you have to kill the stage 3 midboss and every turret on the ship without bombing, and he will drop an extra man.

Definitely use it... if you can figure out where it is. Haven't played this game in almost a year, so I have no idea what stage its on.

Nice, that leaves me some room for improvement...

its sad that Shooting Love 200X never got localized. That one contained Trizeal Remix, Exzeal, a Shmup Skills Test, and another strange rail shooter kinda thing.

It even came with a superplay dvd with a ton of cool videos on it.
