Sega Saturn Light Gun Issue

Hello everyone. I'm using a Mad Catz Light Gun with my Sega Saturn Game, The House of the Dead. However, when I shoot at the left side of the screen, the gun reloads, as opposed to actually shooting my target. I know I'm pointing at the screen though. Does anyone know how to fix this? Also, I have tried using other Light Guns, and yes, I am using a CRT TV.

Good to read that the gun does work on part of the screen. Definitely a screen alignment issue, try recalibrating the gun in the Game Menu. You can also try darkening the room lighting, close the curtains to cut down on glare and kick up the brightness of the TV.
