Dreamcast Junkyard Feature: Samba De Amigo

Post by GagaMan »

I've got a new video for you, looking into the contents of the Dreamcast Samba De Amigo Maraca boxset along with some daft game play footage. Here's hoping the Wii game lives up to the sheer joy I get from playing the original.

I always love your commentary (and your accent)!
Camera footage was a little shaky, but still very enjoyable :)

That Rocky theme remix -- was that included in any of the games? I don't remember that one....
And I guess I need to fool around with v2000 some more -- what's with the downloadable content -- obviously I'd love to have JSR music on Samba :)

And BTW, I've actually never played the game with the maracas, but I still have loads of fun with it....

Yeah... argh watch that monkey go!

... um ok, Nice video review Gagaman.

Trouble is now after hearing the JGR music I want to play JGR, but on the other hand hearing the rocky music ( while you were opening the box, at least it sounded like rocky to me) makes me want to watch Rocky. Decisions decisions.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

Yeah, that Rocky theme was unlockable later in the game (ver 2000).

To get all the Sega tunes (which were originally downloaded directly to your VMU from the Samba De Amigo website. These were just 2 block files that unlocked the songs from the game disc) you'll need to burn a CD-R of VMUTool which contains all the VMU files to down load onto your VMU.

Sweet. I'll have to add this to my "to-do" list -- thanks!
