Getting water out of my ear!

Heya. I've had some water stuck in my ear for about three days now. This happens to me pretty frequently. I couldn't get it out the usual ways. The rubbing alcohol trick didn't work either.

I've heard that leaving water in your ears for a long time can cause hearing loss, so can you give me some suggestions please?

Not sure about hearing loss, but it could definitely cause an infection.

I would recommend taking a trip to your family doc or possibly an ear, nose and throat specialist. Have your ears professionally cleaned. You could have wax build up deep in your ear canal. That could be what is preventing water from draining from your ears.

Submerge your ear In more water. I know it sounds dumb. But do it, let it fill up again then turn your head to the side and back and it should run out.

Yea that usually does the trick for me.

They sell some stuff you can buy, called Swimmer's Ear, or something similar, that gets rid of it. Just pour a bit in, give it 30 seconds, then turn your head. That usually works for me.

I think that stuff is just rubbing alcohol and vinegar, which I already tried.

Thanks for the help everyone . I guess I'll be seeing my doctor on Tuesday, since tomorrow's a holiday.

Its possible that you have too much earwax in your cabeza!

keep applying the earwax stuff.

repeated meds will break up the rock like ear wax.

find a really small baster or needle sans needle to get some warm water into your ear. use the plunger part of the needle to push water into your ear. But beforehand use the earwax medicine to break up the wax.

Then Tilt your head and let the stuff drain out.

This happened to me a few times in the past. My ears got plugged and when I woke up I could hear very little in my ear. only after a while I got my hearing back, only to lose it again when I went to bed.

I went to a small nearby clinic and the doctor prescribed that earwax stuff and a few days later went again. where he did said treatment to me.
