Raedon HD6480g fullscreen stretching & screen tearing issues

Post by HungryGarou »

Haven't posted in a while so...

I recently got a HP Pavilion g6-1d60us, and have been trying out some homebrew games and emulators. most of my games look fine when windowed, but when they go in full-screen mode, they have a bit of a horizontal stretch. Also, some games, like Megamari, and Ninja Senki have annoying horizontal tearing. Can anyone help me get full performance out of my homebrew?

thanks :)

You may need to tweak the video settings on the emulators. They may be using a low res video mode that your video card or monitor is stretching funkily when fullscreened. You might end up wanting to just choose a 2x or 3x windowed mode instead of full screening.

You can try enabling vsync in the emulator or force it through catalyst.

try ATI Tray Tools its a PC app.........Force V-Sync and Triple Buffer. Also lack of Ram in a PC can cause Tearing , i just upgraded one of my PCs with more Ram and the Tearing in CPS2 games disappeared.
