Game of Thrones - Atlus
I saw a poster for this game (PC/360/PS3) the other day, not realizing it was coming out May 15th. Seemed kind of quiet so such source material and I was pleased to see that Atlus was putting it out. I looked on Joystiq and there's a video and some screenshots but *no* thread here or really any hype otherwise?
For the second time ever, I impulsively preordered a non-sports game when I put down for this one today. The pre-order bonus is a hard bound art book that is also like a pseudo guide to the characters and places in the game. They had a copy of it and flipped through it quickly for me. Looked really good and definitely collectible.
Anyone else getting this on Tuesday?

Published by Atlus isn't really a selling point to me. It's developed by Cyanide.
Here's the metacritic for the other Game of Thrones game made by the same developer.

Cyanide have basically developed five billion pro cycling managers and a few other really crappy games.
Older. Not wiser.

I have it preordered. My expectations arent too high, but I enjoy the source material enough to find value in the product. I can handle some games rough around the edges heh

I've got a free Thurs-Fri free this week so that was part of my impulsive pre-order. No expectations and no interuptions - I can immerse myself and see how it goes. Haven't done that in a while.Jmustang1968 wrote:I have it preordered. My expectations arent too high, but I enjoy the source material enough to find value in the product. What are the odds that the game would spoil anything past Season 2 of the show?

What are the odds the 3rd book has spoiled anything past Season 2?
Not very I dont think... It is a side story of made up characters for the game. So it doesnt involve many of the main characters or plot I do not believe.

Parallels the events of the first book, or thereabouts.retrosportsgamer wrote:From the brief stuff i've read, the game is just the first book?dsheinem wrote:What are the odds that the game would spoil anything past Season 2 of the show?
Personally, this is one I'll wait and see on. Already have the Diablo III CE coming this week.
