Any guides how to identify a fake Wiimote? Quick round of Google didn't help much.
I'm pretty sure that the "genuine Nintenod Wiimote" I just received is fake but I need some arguments to back me up before staring a dispute
The plastic feels different and the font and colour of the A button are a bit off. All the markings seem fine at first sight but I'm not sure what to look for exactly. Labels inside seem to be in Korean.

If it has "Nintenod" on it than it's definitely a fake!Hateshinai wrote: I'm pretty sure that the "genuine Nintenod Wiimote" I just received is fake but I need some arguments to back me up before staring a dispute
But seriously, check the link that gtmtnbiker provided. It'll help if you have an authentic Wiimote on hand to compare it to.

I somehow missed that thread AND made a spelling mistake. I guess that's the effect of having slept 2 hours out of the last 36...

Haha, I like Biker's solid advice:

No shit!So my advice is to stay away from the Hong Kong sellers on Ebay unless you want to save some money buying a fake.
