Recommendations, psp Cfirmware?

Post by benderx »

Which custom Firmware do you like the most without hiccups ps1 to psp?

6.60 not good enough, in other words bad. Today I spent about 3 to 4 hrs from upgrading to downgrading more than once. I'm not use to installing data on psp because I tend to forget how to make it work later on. At the moment I'm at 5.00 M33-6.
I couldn't even figure out why pandora battery stop working. search all over and led too many links on how make one instead of instructions how to use instead. Does Pandora work in any firmware 6.xx?

What's wrong with 6.60?

I recently upgraded my psp1000 that's been on 5.50 GEN-D since that came out to 6.60 Pro-10 and couldn't be happier.

I can't think of any reason you would want to run older CFW now.

Some of games would give me error number (80010002 etc) message or corrupted file. For instance Corpse party booting up save file error, then I couldn't escape from forever looping error message. I wold like to play games with stable firmware before 6.60. Of course I don't want to play with old firmware because newer games wont work.

I don't know how relevant it is for newer CFW but I used the POPSLoader plugins to fix compatability issues in converted PS1 games.

well if you bought Corpse Party it would work without a problem. You should do that. Because it's y'know, less than a year old. And it would encourage XSeed to bring the sequel over to the US if people bought it.

you did something wrong or have a bad copy. Corpse Party works just fine on 6.60 pro10 for me *suspect*

That game is highly overrated though. It would be more at home as a flash/browser game honestly...

I just installed 6.39 ME-9.7 and that version seems to working fine for me. I'm not liking Pro b version, I even installed 6.60 Fix version and I still prefer ME 9.7. Corpse Party was working fine until I upgraded to 6.60. I was probably using 5.50 cfw in the past.

I hoping if they could make Corpse Party anime show because I could see it happening.

They probably won't if people don't buy the game. Just saying...
