Panzer Dragoon - Video Review

Post by scarper »

Hello everyone. A couple of you may remember a few months back, when I posted a video review of a Parodius game. I'm now taking another stab at doing video reviews, except this time, I'm actually gonna post them frequently.

If you have any criticisms/advice I could use for future reviews, do post them. Thanks guys!

Okay.

Things I enjoyed:

The wall of fake ratings
Your voice is pretty well suited for commentary and review, though I'm suprised to see how young you look
Some decent humor

Things that need work:

Organisation
Pacing
Video Quality
Sound Quality

Your mic isn't terrible, but it could be better. If you can afford it, try to record everything in 720p and for your live segments have better lighting. The pacing was for the most part okay, but there were a few points where it felt wrong. By far the biggest thing you need to work on is the organisation of your thoughts. Try and address each thing one at a time instead of covering a bit here at the beginning and a bit there at the end. Also try to get into a bit more detail. I noticed you didn't cover the framerate of PD, which is pretty low, especially compared to PD2.

Overall a bit rough around the edges but pretty good.

Thanks!! I'll do more research for later reviews, and probably write out a rough script to keep the thought organization. It probably would have benefited from being a bit longer.

this line maked me laugh real good.

I think this game has good music. I really liked the opening music to this one. Whenever I think of this game, that title song comes to mind.
