Best/worst video game ending's ever?!

I have seen some great endings and I have seen so horrible one's. I believe if the developers are gonna put so much time and money into a game and story then why not make a badass ending? I think a good ending really complete's the game.

For me I loved the ending to:


Final fantasy VIII (8) Best

It was 26 min long?! They did not really leave any loop holes it was quite beautiful and bad ass at the same time. And a 26 min FMV back in 1998? That was not common at all

Worst: final fantasy 10 comes to mind

Battletoads in Battlemaniacs didn't have that great of an ending. After all that hard work, I was hoping for something a little better.
