Mephikun's gaming area (2012)

Post by Mephikun »

This isn't complete yet, I need more retro stuff, TV Stand, another TV, more pictures. etc...

But here's what I have in there. (I don't have my 21.5" monitor in my room at the moment since I have it plugged into my dad's gaming computer because it makes games look MUCH better.)

Image

We start here, in one corner of my room, with my desk, bunch of stuff, Skullcandy 2XL Headphones, HP TouchPad (running CM9 [<-- Custom Android 4.0]), Asus Eee PC 1018P (Windows XP + Android 3.2 x86), stuff like that.

Closeup of my desk.

Closeup of HP TouchPad and Netbook, more stuff, etc

Image

Pile of stuff.

Image

Some stuff, box, y'know.

Image

Sister's DS from 2005. Doesn't turn on, ribbon cable thing is broken and both speaker wires broke off... needs to be fixed...

Image

SEGA CD, part of the Genny lot I'm selling.

Image

Armoire, collectibles, inside lies my TV and other stuff.

Image

Top of Armoire.

Top of Armoire, left side.

Image

Top of Armoire, right side.

Image

About to open the Armoire, GBA SP case that I usually put my 3DS in.

Image

STUFF! TV, consoles, games, controllers, oh my!

Image

TV remote, Rock, GameCube, PS2 Slim

Image

GBA/DS/3DS games, Dreamcast (will have a custom paint job soon probably)

Image

TV, Games, moar stuff... hmm, what's on the TV? Is that...?

Image

Yes, it's the Genesis from the lot I'm selling, safe and secure on my TV.

Image

GAEMS... not many of them haha.

Image

My futon, with cozy blankets with lizards.

Image

Box of stuff.

So, yeah, not complete.

Missing from pics:

Xbox 360 Slim 4 GB

PS3 40 GB

What I need:

MOAR RETRO CONSOLEZ AND GAEMS.

iMac G4/G5/CD/C2D to go on my desk.

Shelves.

Another TV, maybe a 32" CRT?

TV Stand...

The works, y'know.

I thought I'd post my 2011 rig from before I moved.

Alright, this isn't complete yet, but...

Image

My PS3 along with an Afterglow controller and the Sixaxis it came with, you can see some games, a Dreamcast and a GameCube.

Image

Games with a side of Dreamcast :)

Image

Dreamcast! :D

Image

GameCube :)

Image

I spy a Wii. :o

Image

PS2 Slim with controllers and some PS3 games

Image

Guitar Hero guitar, wires... and I guess my cat snuck into the picture. LOL

Image

Awesome Toshiba TV :)

Image

My wallpaper. No, I don't own a mac. It's a hackintoshed computer (for those of you who don't know, it's running Mac OS X on PC)

Image

My desk

Image

Part of my desk. Yes, you see a 16 GB 1st gen iPod touch, Halo figures, and Ho-Oh.

Image

More iPod touch action, moar Halo, and my terrible webcam that doesn't really work anymore LOL

Image

My computer and earbuds. Shockingly, it seems to run better than my parents' Dual Xeon computer with 3 GBs of RAM, my computer's a 3.2 GHz Pentium 4 with 1 GB of RAM. xD

For your retro stuff, you ought to try to get an Atari 2600. I know the 7800 plays 2600 games, but that cheesy 70's wood panel with the metal switches is just about the most retro looking thing you can get. I love mine. If you've seen my collection thread, you'll notice that it stays front and center right in front of my main TV.

I'm feeling you about a big CRT TV. I've got a 32 inch, but that's my LCD; my CRT is only 24 inches, I think.

Thanks guys :)

Yeah, I've wanted a 2600 for a long time...

Yes, that lizard blanket is amazing. My sister made it, it's so warm and fuzzy...

Also, those books by the side of my Armoire... yes they have cats on them. My other sister has like... most of them and just dumped them all on me xD I forgot to move them before taking pics...

Thanks mate :)

Making some huge changes. Buying some new stuff (either a couple new consoles + games, a modded 360 for emulators, new tv, or new stuff fo rmy computer portion of the room. The room is small though, so I can't have a huge collection. Maybe when my sisters move out :P

Also, no longer own the Genesis :(
