Super Scope Problem

Well i got a copy of yoshis safari. And it loads up, but the gun is not responsive. I changed the batts nothing happend any ideas?

make sure the reciever for the gun is where ur aiming right at it

i did i even put em right up to each other. does anyone know if there is different frequencys for Superscopes? cause i got the reciever at a diff place than the gun
