As in, which system is best for this game comparisons. I know Lens of Truth but I'm looking for something for past generations as well. Too often I look for a game but have no idea which is the best version, so I just grab it where ever it's cheapest or for whichever system I have most games for.
IGN did head-to-heads on multiplatforms back during PS2/GCN/XBOX but they were insider exclusive, and are still locked behind IGN's membership program. IGN really needs to better maintain their old content.
If anyone knows of a good site for these please let me know. I think even a submission site like How Long to Beat would be cool, though the people looking for that information/the people who could provide that information are decidedly more niche than even for completion times. A poll system would at least be helpful but too many would vote for just the one version they did play.
Good sites for head-to-heads?
Re: Good sites for head-to-heads?
What I normally do is check Wikipedia first. If it's a popular game, it usually has a section for port differences. Don't expect it to be highly detailed, but it usually at least lists the major differences, if any. Or rather, the important differences. If I can't find my answer there, or a simple Google, there's always the Racketboy forums!
