Will DOA x Virtua Fighter ever happen? (Trailer inside)

I've posted this video on Dead or Alive 5 thread, but I figured I create one just to discuss about the possibilities of the crossover. I think it will happen, but all will be determined after the release of Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown and Dead or Alive 5. If the community grows between the two, then there's a good chance they will collaborate on a full fledged crossover. Aside from that, I want people to share their thoughts about the video like what is Tecmo trying to show demonstrate in this video. Pay attention to the way the stage is designed or how the gameplay works.

I'm actually a pretty big fan of both series, especially in the 3d fighting genre.

This just sounds so awesome, especially since the original DoA game was done using the engine from VF1.

Really? Huh. A quick webcrawl and the images from DoA look a lot more detailed than I remembered. Model-2 indeed.

I gotta be honest I am more of a fan of 2D with sprites fan but if I had to pick 2 pick 2 games to play their crossover it would be VF and DOA. I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen and would gladly give it a try. 2 great franchises that are underestimated [big bouncy buubz has helped one though]
