Customizing my profile

Most likley a dumb question but I am trying to customize my profile here, I want to add a picture, and I see some people here have icons of consolses at the bottom of their posts, how do I do that?

Click on the User Control Panel link, on the top left of every forum page.

just the names are fine with me.

my pic is wholly original. From some street art around town.

Use Photoshop and copy and paste whatever you need from those images. Be sure to have a clear layer below you're image and save as a .png file, that way you have a clear BG in your sig when uoloading to any site.

by clear layer do you mean have the opacity at 100%?

Yep - nothing on the layer.

colors either? I mean I could make a dark purple layer but make the opacity 100%? I'm probably over thinking it.
