I actually liked Raiden IV but felt its presentation was a little generic and its levels way too short.
Still fun to play though!
Anyone heard anything about a new one or anything? Hard to believe that series could be dead.
It was also sold on Amazon.Weekend_Warrior wrote:Heck yeah I bought it. But I believe it was only sold at Gamestop here in America (like Deathsmiles), so I don't think anyone expected it to be a big seller. I've never seen it sold anywhere else. I think Raiden III for PS2 was that way, too?

Wait a min... There was more than 1 Raiden Fighter Aces? Or are you counting the first two being on the complication?dunpeal2064 wrote:Well, MOSS currently has the rights to the Raiden series, since they made III and IV.
I'm not sure what they have been up to lately, but I can't imagine a Raiden V is impossible.
I wonder if they will impliment some more scoring mechanics in this one. I thought that the addition of the charged missles was pretty neat, although it led to quite lengthy boss milking if you played for points.
Since MOSS has the rights to the franchise, I wonder if they could release a Raiden Fighters 3? Now that would be something to see!

Wait what? I bought Raiden III at Gamestop a long while back. It was the only game I ever bought from Gamestop that was new and not sealed. Now I'm wondering why I never saw it anywhere else. Some info on the Raidens, why exclusive to Gamestop as the only local store?Weekend_Warrior wrote:Heck yeah I bought it.
