I gots me a pet... and he's soooo adoreable.

I'm a Sega nerd, I'll admit it, I'm a HUGE SEGA nerd.

Also, my philosophy is that animals belong in 1 of 2 places. Out in the woods, or on my plate. I'm not a pet person, not of any sort. Dogs aren't a big deal to me, as long as it's not my own and I don't have to care for it.

But my Sega nerd comes out in the case of one species... the hedgehog. Yes I'm a fag.

In our house we've been getting into animals lately and my flatmates have gotten themselves a few little creatures. Some spider, 2 rhinocerous beetles (considered the worlds strongest created lifting nearly 4 or 5 hundred times its own weight). There is also a Pit Bull owned by my cousin (there's a lot of us in this house... I think 5 or 6 people).

So I got me a hedgehog.

...

What the hell should I name it?

not an image of my hedgehog... no camera available... but he looks kinda like this one.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

Congrats, I think.

My wife has the animal bug, as it were. So, yeah, we got a hedgehog. Somehow, its name just defaulted to Sonique -- for that french vibe.

oh two more comments.

No I won't name it Sonic... I'm a sega nerd... but I'm not that bad.

and also my flatmate wants me to name it "Brimley"... as in Wilford Brimley. What the heck? My hedgehog does not have diabeetus, nor has it saved the world in 'the thing'

Hahaha! I toally laughed out loud when I saw that. That's awesome. No shame in naming it Sonic. Yeah, it's obvious but, come on, you know it's perfect.

My wife and I were joking last night that we "modded" our cat to our own specs. Spayed and declawed.

My friend Edd is notorious for stating the geekiest jokes known to man. I though there would be no person out there that could top how low this man's jokes go.

but alas, a competitor arises...

Ed's retort: "I'm gonna kill that man and steal his wife"

You could always call it Shadow or Silver, but I say go for the ironic angle and name him Mario.
