Portal: The 2D Flash Game

Post by racketboy »

I'm gonna have try this when I get home:

Portal has interested me as I thought the concept was cool, but I would think the 3D nature (with lots of falling) would give me a ton of motion sickness. Maybe this will be better for me.

I just got orange box for the portal game.. I have to say I'm impressed.

I used to play a fair amount of the Adventures of LOLO. One of the things I liked most about that puzzle game is the feeling you get when you step into a new room and see all of the obstacles. You think to yourself "what the hell am I going to do here??!!".....

I feel the same way with this portal game, it's great! The puzzles haven't gotten too crazy yet, but then again, I'm only on the 18th room or so.

Dammit, two new additions to the HL series and I don't have any cash to get either of them. :(

sorry, to clarify my earlier reply...i was talking about the 3d portal game, not this 2D one. This 2D one is OK (I'm on level 16 right now) but i really like the other one the best.

EDIT: aaah level 37... i know what to do.. i just keep dying.. blah !

This 2D Portal thing is intriguing. Someone should do a 3D version someday!

(Yes, I know...)

I can see 3d portal giving people motion sickness and this 2d version is not too bad. It reminds me alot of classic Lode Runner, I just wish the controls were tighter.

Buying the game isn't the issue.
