can anyone recommend any solid japanese snes games that don't require reading? i'm looking to pick up something under $20 that never made it to america. i'm down with a lot of platformers, shooters, action games, puzzle games, etc.

thanks!

Mario & Wario

I love it because it makes use of the rarely used SNES mouse. SFC only, and you don't need to read Japanese to be able to play it.

Little Magic

An excellent puzzle game. You don't need to be able to read Japanese. There's a useless story that's in Japanese, but the rest of the game is in English.

Both of which were pretty cheap on eBay the last time I checked.

Also, there's two threads that I recall with this exact question. Tons of examples in those threads.

Twinbee Rainbow Bell Adventure

A wonderfully innovative platformer from Konami. One of those games that made it in Europe, but not in America, likely due to the cutesy theme.

The various Parodius games. Konami made a series of Gradius parodies with silly enemies.
