I went to check how is the ps2 is doing, looks like it is still in retail after 5 years from moving to the ps3 for the great price of $100!!

Do you see them in store and do they still their games like in Walmart and other stores? I think I am going to pick myself one at this price, looking to find a moded one. I never owned a ps2

I have not seen any new PS2s for a while, but they are out there. You definitely should try a PS2, there are so many varieties of games to discover. Get a fat PS2 for the convenience of an internal hard drive installed with PS2 games.

My local Kmart still has three units. One unit is has been in there for what seems like a couple years.

I can't remember if there were any PS2 consoles, but there are still some games in my Wal*Mart.

My Walmarts still stock PS2s. And everytime they run out, they order more of them, so people are still buying those things (even though they are over-priced at $100 IMO.)

The two Fry's Electronics I go to always have an abundance of new PS2s.

I can tell you that the Best Buy, KMart, Walmart near me all keep PS2's in stock. And at least the Best Buys and Kmart continue to stock a good amount of games.

I work in the logistics division of one of the major retailers mentioned here and we are still shipping new PlayStation 2s every day.

I actually love still seeing PS2 games on the shelves of major retailers. I don't know how to explain it, but I get a sort of "good for PS2!" feeling when I see them.
