Sega may have struggled against Nintendo's console dominance during the late 80's and 90's, but that doesn't mean the games aren't highly sought after and loved by Sega fans world wide. This week the Metal Jesus & Drunken Master Paul ask John Hancock to show us some of the most rare and hard to find Sega games on 5 different consoles.

Damn you guys have a great vibe going!

Metal Jesus you had me cracking up when you guys were taking off to Johns house and you said "Hit it".(non-chalantley)
Drunken Master was very relaxed and a good interviewer (or jus comfortable around John H).Are you a alcoholic?lol/jk
As for John great selection of games to show us,you have a stacked collection!
I think with the rare sealed stuff you happen to come across wouldnt be "worth"
opening especially if you were to sell it and buy 4x the amount.

Who does the music had a nice thump!

The intro is our little tribute to the Blues Brothers movie...which is a favorite of John's. As for Paul, he knows next to nothing about Sega, yet through me, he is learning all about the consoles of the 80s and 90s. He and I met at PC developer Sierra On-line, so it was always PC gaming during that time.

The music is all me and my band. It's a bonus owning the copyrights to the background music, so YouTube/Google won't block my videos.

I watched a video featuring some Genesis shoot 'em ups that I believe was by you, and it was good fun.

Good to see you here! I'll give this a watch after work.

awesome video!

There are some good games listed there.

now I see why they're going nuts for the spiderman box over in the finds of the day thread.

The only game That I have from the set listed in the vid is Shining Force III, albeit disc only.

Its pretty scratched up but thankfully it still plays. When I was younger I thought that the other scenarios were on the disc and I had to unlock them. But thats a lie I fed myself.

I'm gonna keep an eye out for that boxing game. That one seems possible to find, since its a sports game and a MS game.

THAT WALL  I can stare and stare. Awesome stuff! 8)

Great video. Lots of neat games mentioned, and plenty that made me kick myself for not buying when I saw them in shops when they first came out (Crusader of Centy, and Shining Force III in particular). I actually didn't know there was a Master System version of Buster Douglas. I remember the Genesis one, but not that.
