Strania for Xbox Live Arcade

I just purchased Strania for XBLA. It's a really fun mecha shoot-em-up with nice of use of 3d graphics. It's fairly accessible with options for armor and continues. I'm also digging the hell out of the soundtrack by Keishi Yonao. Has anyone else tried this game out?

Just got killed by the Stage Five boss. I'm loving the hell out of this game. It makes great use of its camera, the objectives keep the game from feeling samey, and like I said earlier the soundtrack is killer. I just wish I can find it for less than $35.

I've heard about but haven't tried it out because it's from G.Rev. Admittedly I have only played Senko no Ronde and Under Defeat from them. Both are.. Alright.

This is the first G.Rev game I've played unless you count Gradius V so I don't know how it compares to Senko no Ronde or Under Defeat.

Hell yeah! What's more is that the DLC (called Side Vower) is a completely new campaign for 400 MSP. So that's two shmups for 1200 points.

I got back into Strania a few days ago and am still enjoying it greatly. I finally managed to get to Stage 6 without dying immediately. The boss for that stage is a real motherfucker. It is absolutely relentless with its number of screen-filling attacks. Its stature is fitting as every other boss in the game feels absolutely tiny in comparison.
