Castle Of illusion - Sega Mega Drive / Sega Genesis
Land Of illusion - Sega Master System

Now a day's this series doesn't get much recognition for it contribution to gaming, So my hope is to open people eye's to this amazing series of games.

Great reviews David, I personally love this series (although I haven't played Land of Illusion) and definitely agree that it's one of the most overlooked, yet one of the most impressive platforming game series of it's time.

Special mention for the SMS/GG version of Castle of Illusion - sure, it's not as pretty as the MegaDrive game it's (loosely) based upon, but it's a fantastic platformer nonetheless and deserves a look precisely because of how different it is from the MD version.

I watched it while I was doing some paper work for work and I ended up having to turn it off until I finished because I kept watching the screen.

Really enjoyable review.
