So my daughter just appropriated my GameBoy Color

Post by The Nihilist »

My daughter likes making many many requests before she goes down or a nap. One of these requests was to play Gameboy with her until she got sleepy.
This continues for a few days, 'Daddy! Play 'Man!' (referring to Mega Man V).

And as of yesterday, she won't let me play anymore and she won't go to sleep. So we have a little gamer in the works.

I'm in the middle of bolstering up a gameboy collection right now, but I need to branch out from my current quest and acquire some games for her to play.

Can anyone recommend any puzzle games for GB/GBC that are fun and engaging?

I'm thinking along the lines of puzzle type games, and the only thing I can think of is Tetris.

Any ideas?

Dr. Mario, too! There are also a bunch of retro games that might appeal to her.

Pokemon Puzzle Challenge might be more fun than Tetris Attack if she recognises the characters.

Try Kwirk and Amazing Tater for some interesting puzzling. They are not reflex oriented like Tetris, they make you think.

I have great memories of Mario Land 2 and Link's Awakening. They're pretty tough, though...

Hmm. Donkey Kong '94 should be great.
